I was a little forced into taking a full physical program, but I do not regret. The doctor is very polite and professional, doesn't get too personal but stays on top of the problem.

Provided by Doctor.comThe office is "dull" - I guess that's called effective management. But when it comes to the medical service, the doctor is fantastic. She is kind and she is attentive. Always in time and provides great service.

Provided by Doctor.comDr. G is awesome!!! She is very gentle and is on top of every issue. I feel her attention even when I am far away from New York high in the mountains (yes, I once received a calls from her in Colorado). I developed more than a few healthy habits. And I certainly don't miss my annual physical.

Travel shot for a vacation to India. Her rule is to have a patient change their primary care doctor to do this, but I did not have mine at that time, so was an easy decision to make.

Excellent approach shown by Dr. Gafanovich and her staff. The staff is really comprised of nothing less than awesome people. Very amiable and ready to entertain you while you are in the waiting room. Dr. Marina loves what she does. I can tell because I am a passionate entrepreneur myself. Highly recommended.

The office got a facelift since I've last been here. Fortunately, the doctor remained the same. Dr. Gafanovich continues to provide the remarkable service that I got used to. She is prompt, yes, but very efficient and answers all questions in a polite and down to Earth form.

I will try to enter an unbiased review of the services of Dr. Marina Gafanovich. She is fairly young which looked like a disadvantage for me. Actually, unlike most grey-headed docs, she is very amiable and have an excellent sense of humor. I had a sore throat, not a big issue. I had a feeling I was a little forced into doing a complete physical, which I was reluctant to do, but gave up. While it was not the sweetest of the experiences, it proved to be effective in uncovering some not so visible conditions. Nothing serious, by chance. In all, the doctor showed superb knowledge of primary care.

Compassionate Internist. Sometimes, the importance and value of this specialty is underestimated. Dr. Gafanovich makes it absolutely clear that there is NO medicine without Internal Medicine. Besides being a great doc, she is a caring person. Remembers every patient by first name. Simply adorable.

A decent GP with good manners. She is not perfect, but who is? I vote 5 stars for her punctuality and medical service. She is a little overwhelmed with the patients, but that is probably a good sign of her credibility. There's some dedicated office-style space for those with extra cash to pay for waiting by himself. I did not enroll, so I can't say if it's worth it or not. Nor did I in a concierge program. But my colleague is indeed her concierge patient, and he says he is now able to talk to the physician for more that 15 minutes, especially after hours. Sounds like a good deal now that the insurance payouts are being cut for doctors. I'd generally recommend.

Dr. Gafanovich is an authoritive general doctor in Manhattan. I was impressed by soid reviews that I found online, and decided to take a chance and switch my physician who moved out of the city. Although some of those reviews could be an exaggeration, I totally like her positioning of a "prevention doctor" rather than the "follow-up doctor". With the government medical spending cuts this is a very patient-oriented way of doing business...ehr..being a doctor.

The doctor's office is rather busy. I signed up for the "concierge" service which allowed me to have same-day appointments and a special waiting room (I really appreciate this). However, there's no elitist approach whatsoever. The recommendations and referrals are very professional. The follow-ups and labwork are prompt. Dr. Gafanovich has made friends with the technology, and literally everything is automated and streamlined. Would go back.

About a year ago I stated to feel dull pain in the right part of my lower back especially during physical activity and while changing positions. This annoyed me very much so I decided to visit an internist whom I trust. This time she was very careful as always, she made several tests and concluded that I had urolithiasis. She recommended several kinds of procedures and now everything is ok and I’m full of energy as before. Now I’m sure I can visit her with any problem which may appear.

In these later days I have headaches very often. These headaches are usually accompanied by weakness in my muscles. I decided to visit Dr. Gafanovich and to have a consultation I’m very thankful to this doctor because she returned me back to normal life. Sometimes it was very hard to overcome my illness but I trusted my doctor and hoped for better. Thank you for returning us our health.

Provided by Doctor.comIf something is wrong with my health the first thing I do is calling to my favorite doctor internist Marina Gafanovich. I like her very much she is a good doctor and she will never prescribe you unnecessary “extra†pills like others, besides if there is a possibility she is trying to use homeopathic medicines.

My blood pressure is like a ball. It jumps all the time. One day I have a terrible headache, another day I can hardly move due to low BP. So I had to visit a doc. My husband brought me to that New York md he always visits. She checked my BP, asked a lot of questions and prescribed the pills that do normalize it. Now I feel much better, at least have no such great extremities with it.

Several years ago my husband got a consultation from Dr. Marina Gafanovich. The treatment was long but very effective. She is very friendly and pleasant with her patients. She can always find time for in your schedule, sometimes you can come during a weekend. If you need a good result you are welcome.
