Walmart Supercenter

They are very rude, and talk down to you all the time. I tried to return a defective item, and forgot my receipt. Instead of giving me a gift card, to spend in their store, they would not return something that was in the box, and not even used. It had something broken off of it. I never used it. They pulled the store policy lie. I went straight to south point ohio's walmart, and returned it no problem, no receipt needed. They were so rude. I will never go back to that walmart.

i totally agree with the other reviews about the checkout lines at night. they do not have enough lanes open to accomodate the costomers. the checkout ladies are very nice, especially as worked as they are by the time you do get to them. i have stood in line for 30 minutes before.

what really has ticked me off though is that one time, i had to go and get dog food for my mothers dog, while i was there i decided to pick up an ACE bandage. my mom's dog had a place on her foot, so i thought it would be nice to get her a washable bandage for it. i got checked out (20 min wait), and headed for the door.

as my boyfriend and i were leaving, an old lady stopped us and asked to check my receipt (for two freakin things that didn't add up to 15 dollars may i add), so i pulled them out because i had two, where my mothers order was separate from mine. she told me that they check everyones bags at night. so i gave her the first one while i dug the other out of my pocket. she saw the ace bandage was the only thing on the first one and reminded me that it did not cover my dog food. i told her the other was in my pocket and i fished it out (by the way, i was already getting it and it was obvious).

i asked again, did they check EVERYONE that came through there at night? she responded and i quote " yes, at this time of night we do.". we walked outside and stopped to watch through the door to see if this practice was indeed real and waited. as we stood there, we watched ten to twelve other people (that weren't in a crowd, if fact the opposite they were far between) walk out and did not get checked. i was upset to say the least. why did this lady pick me out of the crowd? do i look like a thief? did the two items i had look like they were worth a lot?

i am very insulted by this to say the least. i am not someone that steals ace bandages and dog food (no matter how good of i time i can have with them, lol), in the middle of the night. anyway, this walmart totally profiles people and i do not like it. and the weirdest thing is, i don't even know how she profiled me? i'm so average its not funny.

At this time of year Wal-Mart is one of the most popular stores, but that doesn't mean they slack with their customer service. It's always nice to be greated at the door or shown where something is located when you look confused. I find that good customer service isn't really something you can teach someone it just comes natural and lucky for me I seem to find it when I'm at Wal-Mart.
