Wild Rice

This place serves the #1 top sashimi and sushi in Connecticut, and I try a lot of places all over! this is my first time doing a review, simply because they definately have earned my time to write one!! The taste and quality, even the tempertature of each dish was perfectly served. The presentations of the dishes were beautiful and I really liked the decor of the place. We went on a busy Saturday night, but the service was still good. There is a little sidewalk patio you can eat out on when it's nice. This restaurant was recommended to me, by my dentist who raved on and on about how great this place was when they went. I will be giving out gift certificates to my friends and family so everyone I know can experience it. The prices here were surprisingly low! Especially for being in the heart of downtown Fairfield! I was in a party of 4, and we only spent about $120 in total, including drinks, saki, appetizers and entrees. It's definately worth the travel, if you need to. It's a small place, so make a reservation if you are going at peak times. We waited at the bar for a table, I'm glad we did!
