Provided by SuperpagesThe Montgomery Street Cafe is a wonderful place to eat breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff, customer-friendly atmosphere and biscuits that are out of this world. I would suggest that you call to find out which day they serve Potato Soup. You'll never settle for any other kind.

Provided by SuperpagesGo to Montgomery Street for the antiques and collectibles, not the cafe. You can wander for hours in this fantastic shop and find all manner of gifts and knick-knacks at reasonable prices up to wildly expensive prices, but if you give in and decide to lunch here, I think you will be disappointed. The fare is the usual cafe style- sandwiches, soups, and a few desserts. None of them are stand-outs, and the portions are small. They have a great love of broccoli soup as well, which you can smell as you wander through the antiques! The "ladies who lunch" will nibble their small sandwich and be content, but a husband will find little to please his palate. We also paid more here for lunch for two than at a chain restaurant for 3 people.
