Rosalita's Italian Restaurant

Pretty disappointed. Taking a break from packing our house to prepare for our move, the kids and I went in last night to grab dinner and spend some time together. While the food was ok (not great, not horrible), the service was absolutely terrible. We were only one of two tables in the restaurant, yet only saw our server three times. Once to act as though we were bothering her by having to take our order, then to drop off food and the third time to drop off check (this only after I asked the other two servers to have her to come by). Never a smile, not one item prebussed so our table of three looked like a table for 6-8. I work in the industry and have for years. I get wanting to go home and I get BOH sidework. However, it seems to me that a brand new establishment would want to be a little more careful and at least attempt to slightly make guests feel welcome and want to come back. A smile would have gone a long way in making up for the mediocre food.

good and very reasonable Italian dishes and subs and pizza.
